I think this one might be my favorite so far. I love mini golf 🙂 As long as it is non competitive.

For several years, my dad took me to a couple of different miniature golf establishments on several Saturdays in the spring and summer. He would suggest we not keep score, so that we could focus on the fun and just improving our game.  One year, for my eleventh birthday (which would have been in 1963, about one month before JFK was assassinated), my parents escorted about a dozen of my friends and me to the local mini-golf course and hosted rounds in teams of 3-4.  After we finished playing golf, Mom and Dad handed each of us a small envelope containing about two dollars in dimes, to spend in the arcade.  (In those days, the arcade games were electromechanical, not digital, and cost a dime each play.)  That was as much fun as the golf had been.
