Sing-A-Long with Bruce: Christmas Music, Part II

Well, I know YOU HAVE BEEN BEGGING for Part II, so here it is! I’m going to be in India in a couple of weeks. What do you think of me singing “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” – in front of the Taj Majal – but changing the lyrics to “Have a Holly Bolly Christmas?” If I get enough votes for YES, I’ll do it!

Get in the Holiday Spirit and Sing-A-Long with Bruce in Part II of this series of short videos of clips from great Christmas music! Bruce is an unrepentant sing-a-long-with-the-radio sorta guy! It’s infectious so don’t hold back. JOIN IN!

Concert Series: Bruce Springsteen – Santa Claus Is Coming to Town

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performed at The Honda Center in Anaheim, California on December 4, 2012. The Boss had special guests Tom Morello and Mike Ness. Given it was the holiday season, he performed his signature Christmas Song, “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” in addition to many from his new album, Wrecking Ball, and so many of his classics in a 3-1/2 hour amazing show! This will be the first of several videos from this absolutely breathtakingly wonderful concert…

I’m TOO Old for #OutsideLands and 65,000 Kids at a Music Festival!

Making friends! Check out Clark's outfit - she's on my left!

I took my boys to San Francisco to attend the Outside Lands Music Festival this summer. It’s one of those Woodstock-like three-day music extravaganzas. There were several stages strewn around Golden Gate Park and, given today’s sponsorships there were all kinds of companies represented, big and small. Giveaways, prizes, PR of all kinds, and amazing food abounded, along with the unmistakable aroma of weed.

Homage – I’m NOT That Dad #14

What a pleasant surprise to receive this short video tribute aka homage, shot and edited by my son’s good friend, Jon. Yeah, I bribed him with Bruce Springsteen tickets, but he still came through and I was quite touched. That is why he chose “The Boss” description you’ll see within it -truly no other reason.

The Boss

Went to see the Boss last night. Amazing show. Lousy seats and WHAT is with starting 70 minutes late? Hope to have some video to post soon. Took my son and a friend and relived taking him to see The Boss about a decade ago, when he didn’t appreciate it. THAT is the best part of parenting…so very cool to share these sort of things! New column is #SocialMedia IS the New Billboard as I continue to add a second weekly column that is usually more Social Media oriented. The new “Because I Said So” is really silly – watch out for “Dad” in the next SI swimsuit issue! Do you think in politically correct terms? I sure as heck don’t and express it in PC Lies – let me know what YOU think? Have YOU signed up for my newsletter yet? And, why not? No spam, just one weekly update that will keep you connected to our great community, #DadChat included!
