Teen Drug Abuse AND Entitlement at #DadChat

Category: #DadChat

#DadChat is never afraid to tackle the tough topics. We did DIVORCE two weeks ago and set a World Record for that chat! This Thursday, January 31 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. PT/9:00 – 10:00 p.m. ET, we are taking on the pernicious problem of Teen Drug Abuse and the problem of Entitlement among our kids. If you don’t have a child that has abused drugs (or liquor), then you surely know one or many through your friends. It’s tragic. Adryenn Ashley (@Adryenn) is returning to help with this difficult discussion along with Peggy Harper Lee (@PeggyHarperLee).

Homework for this #DadChat is reading this column, Entitled.

Also, we are doing #DadChat LIVE from the Dad2.0Summit in Houston, where I’ll be speaking this coming weekend. I expect many attendees to join me in a round-table IRL discussion along with all of you in our amazing community, world-wide!

Peggy Harper Lee is a mother, financial adviser and community volunteer who has personally experienced the devastation the rising entitlement culture brings to families. Raising four children, ages three to 29, over three decades, has given her a unique vantage point into the size of the entitlement problem and the need to take a stand. With humor, wisdom and a commitment to change, she is helping parents learn to understand the dangers of overindulgence, over-protection, and free range parenting, and to gain the skills needed to raise children to become responsible and successful adults. She is passionate about parenting as a learned skill.

Spoiled was written to bring critical resources and tools to those rearing their precious babies. She lives in Rocklin, California with her husband and two youngest children. This is her first book.
